We are thrilled to announce that Sons, Daughters by Ivana Bodrožić (tr. Ellen Elias-Bursać) has been selected as a finalist for the EBRD Literature Prize 2025. This prestigious recognition comes with a €20,000 prize, to be shared between the winning author and translator.

At Seven Stories Press UK, we're proud to champion urgent, boundary-breaking books. Bodrožić’s novel is a powerful exploration of queer and trans life, and a moving reminder of literature’s ability to speak against injustice with care, clarity, and force.
